GLOBAL PRESTASI JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL TABLE MANNERS SEMINAR

            On 3 March , the Grade 7A of Global Prestasi Junior High School attended a Table Manners Seminar, an event that teaches dining etiquette or how to eat in a proper way. The event was held at Harris Hotel and Convention Centre in Summarecon, Bekasi. It’s held annually.
            The event started at 9.30 am. It begun with a photo session followed by a hotel tour to introduce the students to some hotel’s rooms and facilities. The students were eager to know how the hotel was built, how the facilities works, how’s the staff worked etc.
            The seminar itself started at lunch time 1.00 pm. The lecturer on proper dining etiquette was handled by the F&B manager of Harris Hotel which was supplemented by a live demonstration. He taught the students how to hold the cutlery properly, the do’s and dont’s while eating, the function of plates etc, and the proper behaviour before and after the meal. The students applied their knowledge on the spot as they went through the four – cause meal viz. Tuna tan-tan (appetiser), Borneo Prawn Soup, Pan-Fried chicken on fettucie (main cruise), and folded pancakes with peanuts, chocolate and cheese (dessert)
