Moving to high school is one of the key milestones of a teenager’s life. It’s an exciting phase that happens alongside other big changes. At Global Prestasi School (GPS), we equip students with the social, emotional, and academic skills necessary to thrive in a competitive world.

Curriculum

GPS Junior High School follows the Merdeka Belajar national curriculum, enriched by the Cambridge Assessment International Education. These curriculum are referred to as GPS Curriculum which contains a set of a prescribed content and common achievement standards used by the school to dynamically map the students’ learning programs and assess their progress. In its implementation, students are required to sit for the national and international exams, which comprise:

FAQ

How to enroll in Junior High School?

Purchase our registration form and schedule placement tests (subjects are Mathematics and English) and an interview with the parents. For further information regarding online registration, please contact our team (0811 8683 385 WhatsApp only).

What time should students arrive at school?

The following is a schedule for Junior High students:
> Monday-Thursday: 07.00-15.30 (maximum)
> Friday: 06.45-11.15

How many students are there per class?

We ensure all students receive equal attention through the number of students per class, of which the maximum is 25.

What are the extracurricular activities for junior high students?

There are various co-curricular activities that students can choose from: futsal, basketball, badminton, table tennis, taekwondo, drawing, music, dance, ICT, robotics, and school magazine.

Are students allowed to bring their phones to school?

Students are prohibited from bringing and using gadgets (handphone, iPod, iPad, tab, smartwatch, etc.) inside the classroom without permission from the teacher.

Is there a scholarship for students who enroll in Junior High School? How to apply?

Global Prestasi School appreciates outstanding students, both academic and non-academic (art and sports). Students can apply by contacting the Admissions team and submitting certificates and student reports. Then, our team will provide information regarding the following selection process.
