Education is a fundamental pillar in driving humanity toward better change. The key to a nation's golden future lies in having competent human resources. When knowledge is applied in teaching and real-life practices within educational institutions, meaningful outcomes can be achieved.
Global Prestasi School offers a wide range of programs designed to prepare students for the future and enhance the nation's intellectual capacity. Twelfth-grade students are gearing up for graduation and university life, and one of the programs at the Senior High level is Campus Immersion. This program allows twelfth-grade students to experience life as university students. Campus Immersion provides students with memorable experiences and equips them for their academic journey ahead.
This year’s Campus Immersion program was held at three prestigious universities: Universitas Indonesia (UI), Bina Nusantara University (Binus) Alam Sutera, and Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN).
On the first day, Global Prestasi School visited Universitas Indonesia for a campus tour, focusing on the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP). The day’s activities were highly engaging, as students were provided with extensive information about the university. They also had the opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions about the admissions process, facilities, campus activities, and more.
On the second day, students participated in a sit-in program at Binus Alam Sutera. They were warmly welcomed by Binus students and learned alongside Binus lecturers and students based on their pre-selected majors. Binus also organized interesting activities, including a campus tour and games. The Global Prestasi School students were enthusiastic as they gained valuable new experiences during their visit.
On the third day, the students attended a sit-in program at UMN, where they experienced life as UMN students in their chosen majors. One of the highlights was a cooking activity in the hospitality program, which allowed them to explore the field further. The day also included fun games and entertaining activities with UMN’s mascot.
After participating in the Campus Immersion program, Global Prestasi School students gained a clearer understanding of how to prioritize their dreams by delving deeper into their intended fields of study. Their experiences during the program provided insights into university life, helping them prepare optimally for their future as students at their dream universities.
