Interactive and Creative Learning at Global Prestasi Montessori

During this fifth bimonthly, children learn the concept of public places. This serves to aid them in their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. The learning process is often centered around playful exploration, allowing young children to discover and comprehend various environments. 

One of the Kindergarten Curriculum Frameworks highlights the importance of providing children with meaningful experiences that allow them to explore their surroundings and gain a deeper understanding of the world. A variety of age-appropriate activities and themes that are customized to each child's needs can include teaching about public spaces.

By interacting with their environment and taking part in a variety of activities, children can enhance their literacy skills and grow holistically. The Montessori method of education believes that children learn best through hands-on experiences and self-guided inquiry. The main objective is to make sure that kids are exposed to public spaces in ways that are creative, engaging, and suitable for their developmental stage.

SUBWAY goes to School

Exploring culinary adventures within the school environment can ignite excitement and camaraderie among students, especially when they come together to craft delicious meals with their friends. With the introduction of a SUBWAY restaurant, students went on a flavorful adventure directly on school property, making for a great and informative experience.

Throughout this culinary escapade, students actively immersed themselves in every aspect of the process, from selecting fresh ingredients and assembling their customized sandwiches to learning about kitchen safety and hygiene practices. Guided by the SUBWAY crews and their teachers, students eagerly embraced the opportunity to unleash their culinary creativity, experimenting with flavor combinations and mastering sandwich-making techniques.

Beyond the delicious flavors and shared moments, this culinary endeavor offered valuable educational insights, allowing students to gain practical knowledge about nutrition, food preparation, environmental awareness, and teamwork. Students who actively engaged in the cooking process developed vital life skills that go well beyond the kitchen in addition to satisfying their palates.

In essence, the introduction of SUBWAY within the school premises proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for all involved, fostering camaraderie among students and educators while simultaneously nurturing their passion for culinary arts and fostering a deeper appreciation for good food and friendship.

Watching Movie Together

Attending the cinema is a favored leisure pursuit among children, especially when enjoying films on a grand scale alongside family members. Following an in-depth examination of cinema during classroom sessions, students ultimately engaged in a significant and immersive educational encounter by visiting Cinema XXI Kota Bintang accompanied by their teachers and peers. 

During this outing, students actively participated in the cinematic experience, including ticket procurement, queuing for entry into the theater, and observing proper cinema etiquette while enjoying a screening of Kungfu Panda 4. When they enjoyed watching the movie with their teachers and friends, it was evident how happy and excited they were. 

In addition to being entertaining, this trip gave students a priceless educational opportunity by letting them see directly the different aspects of watching films, such as audience behavior and cinematic presentation. 

Overall, the movie outing was a memorable and rewarding experience for all involved, strengthening the understanding and appreciation of cinematic artistry, and encouraging a sense of connection among students and teachers.
