Last week, GP Montessori had a field study to end our topic discussion in bimonthly 2. We went to Sea World and Jakarta Bird Land. We preferred to choose those places because they could support our learning materials. This event also gave a new experience to the children that they could learn outside the school with their friends and teachers.

Those places provided lots of fun activities for our children. They saw many kinds of birds flying freely around them in Jakarta Bird Land. They could also feed and pet the birds directly, allowing them to interact with the birds. The children experienced new things there. They witnessed the bird dancing and demonstrating its ability to mimic human speech. We loved to see the children's expressions, and they were amazed at it.
The children learned more about underwater animals at Sea World. They enjoyed feeding piranha shows, jellyfish, and a variety of fish. When they thought they could touch the fish through the tunnel, they appeared to be joyful. During this field study, the most exciting thing we measured was their happiness. What a great experience, kids!
