The Teacher's Training event on Introduction to Montessori Philosophy and Materials is highly beneficial and practical for educators. The event aims to introduce teachers to the core principles of the Montessori approach and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to create nurturing learning environments for children.
To kick-start the training, we organized an ice-breaking activity. This activity aims to promote teamwork and cooperation among educators. The ice-breaking activity consists of a hand and feet hopscotch game, which motivates participants to bond and build relationships while engaging in physical activity. This game creates a lively and dynamic atmosphere, fostering active participation and teamwork among all the attendees.
A key highlight of the training is the activity that encourages teachers to create variations and extensions in the Montessori sensory area. This activity encourages and strengthens creativity and adaptability, inspiring teachers to develop creative lessons that cater to the different needs and interests of their students.
Overall, this Teacher's Training event proves to be incredibly useful for educators. It equips them with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to implement the Montessori philosophy in their classrooms. Teachers leave the session with valuable tools and strategies to improve their teaching practices. Thanks to the interactive training format, exploration of the materials, and extension activities.Â
