
The journey began when Keisha, Lala, and Safira participated in the World Scholar's Cup (WSC) Jakarta Regional Round (Senior Division), held at Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School and Ciputra Artpreneur from May 2–4, 2026. In this competition, they won a total of 11 medals, including Gold and Silver medals in Individual Debate, Gold and Silver medals in Individual Writing, a Gold medal in Scholar's Bowl, and a Silver medal in Team Debate.
Based on their outstanding achievements, they qualified for the Global Round and chose to compete in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The World Scholar's Cup Kuala Lumpur Global Round took place from June 26 to July 1, 2026, under the theme "Are We There Yet?" Thousands of young scholars from more than 30 countries gathered at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) and the British International School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) to compete, exchange ideas, and celebrate academic excellence and teamwork.

Participants also took part in various community activities, including the Debate Showcase, Scholar's Show, Scholar's Scavenge, and the Cultural (Scholar's) Fair.
Global Community
Thousands of students from both the Junior and Senior Divisions built cross-border friendships, united by their shared passion for learning and intellectual exploration

With these remarkable achievements, they have successfully qualified for the final round—the World Scholar's Cup Tournament of Champions—which will be held at Yale University, USA, later this year.
Keisha, Lala, and Safira's achievements at the World Scholar's Cup 2026 are a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and passion for learning. Beyond the medals they have earned, they have demonstrated the qualities of globally minded learners who are ready to collaborate, compete, and make meaningful contributions on the international stage. As they prepare for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University, we are incredibly proud of their journey and look forward to celebrating even greater accomplishments in the future.
